Often, exam candidates find that the exams are much more difficult than they are prepared for. Our team of Mentors are both highly experienced Medical Coding Professionals with vast field experience as well as experienced educators. HCPCS – Detailed review of Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System including format, structure, use and application and practical examples, exercises, and assessments.

Regulatory Compliance – Review of applicable regulations to the healthcare industry, Health Information Management, and Reimbursement including Fraud and Abuse, Privacy, and Security.

Healthcare Delivery Environments – Inpatient, Outpatient, Professional Services, Facility Services, and more. Detailed review of reporting requirements and processes for each environment.

Documentation – Detailed review of types of healthcare documentation and records including electronic records, determining complete, accurate, and acceptable healthcare documentation, and addressing healthcare documentation discrepancies.

Reimbursement – Review and assessment of healthcare financial processes and methodology. Fee for Service, Capitation, Prospective Payment, and more.

Healthcare Data – Electronic data communication for claims, NCCI, Clearinghouse, and more
